Through the Woods Wellness and Counseling

Adolescents, Couples & Adults

I am a Licensed Provisional Clinical Social Worker who earned my Master of Social Work from Grand Canyon University in 2024. My experience varies across special education, community mental health, outpatient therapy, and crisis work. These varied settings have allowed me to support people through many different seasons of life and have deepened my commitment to offering care that feels compassionate, steady, and truly personalized.

In my work, creating a warm and genuinely non-judgmental space is at the heart of what I do. I want you to feel safe, valued, and understood as we explore the pieces of your story that matter most. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most powerful parts of healing, and I approach our work together with curiosity, respect, and collaboration. I support adolescents, adults, and couples, with special interests in trauma, relationship dynamics, and military families. My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and I continue to grow in my practice as a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

As a military spouse of 16 years, I’ve learned firsthand how important support, stability, and connection can be during times of transition. I’ve lived in Arizona, New York, Wisconsin, Kansas, and now Wyoming which are all experiences that have shaped my understanding of resilience and community. Outside the therapy room, I love being outdoors, baking, cooking, and spending time with my four children. I feel honored to walk alongside clients in Cheyenne, Wyoming, as they navigate challenges, embrace growth, and reconnect with their sense of hope and direction.
