Through the Woods Wellness and Counseling

Adolescents, Adults & Couples

Choosing to begin counseling can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. I believe every person has inherent worth, the capacity for growth, and the ability to heal, regardless of their circumstances. My passion is helping individuals and couples navigate anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, trauma, and the everyday obstacles that can leave us feeling stuck.

I enjoy getting to know each person’s unique story and creating a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I believe you are more than the struggles you face or the mistakes you’ve made. Together, we’ll work to understand what’s holding you back, build practical coping skills, strengthen healthy relationships, and help you move toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

I also believe every person was created with purpose. Sometimes life’s experiences can make it difficult to see that purpose clearly, but healing is possible. Whether you’re looking to improve your relationships, overcome anxiety, process past hurts, or simply find hope again, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

I am a certified facilitator for Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts (SYMBIS), certified in Gottman Couples Therapy, Written Exposure Therapy, ADHD, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). I work with both individuals and couples, tailoring each session to your unique needs by integrating evidence-based counseling approaches with compassionate, personalized care.

My own journey through trauma and anxiety has given me a deep appreciation for the courage it takes to seek help. Because of those experiences, I understand that healing is not always a straight path, but meaningful change is possible. Outside the counseling office, I enjoy crocheting, spending time outdoors, trying new foods, and, most importantly, making memories with my family.
