Heather Wallace, PPC

Counselor - Adolescents & Adults

We humans are wonderfully layered and complex creatures; each of us, delightfully messy and utterly unique. And yet there are so many similarities – among them, that we all struggle from time to time, and we all possess strengths and resilience, often untapped, that have the power to bear us through. I am here to help you harness these strengths, providing you with tools and strategies to overcome obstacles and achieve your goals, whatever they may be. Together, we will collaborate and celebrate your achievements along the way.

I have worked in various aspects of mental health and substance use treatment since 1996, as a member of both community and private practices, and within all levels of public schools. I am experienced in addressing both mental health and substance use issues, and am very familiar with the challenges, as well as victories, of recovery. I see clients of all ages, and am particularly passionate about working with young adults. While I often utilize cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused techniques, I am committed to tailoring my approaches to ensure your comfort and maximum benefit. Our sessions will be a safe and accepting space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment, and I am here to accompany you at your own pace.

The decision to enter therapy can be a significant one, and I want to commend you for considering it. If you are ready to embark on this journey of personal growth, healing, and greater well-being, please feel free to reach out to me; I am here to answer any questions you may have. I have afternoon, evening, and weekend appointments available, and look forward to scheduling a time that works for you.
