Counselor - Adolescents, Adults & Couples

“To Thine own Self Be True” (Shakespeare).

Hello, I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My therapeutic work is rooted in helping individuals explore the impact of early childhood experiences – especially trauma – and guiding them toward rediscovering their authentic, whole, and vibrant selves.

Many of us learn early in life to hide behind a mask—pretending we’re okay while carrying deep wounds that leave us feeling unsafe, unheard, and unseen. In our work together, safety is our foundation. We’ll build a therapeutic space where you can begin to unpack those long-held fears, confusion, and pain. Together, we’ll gently explore the frozen parts of your story and begin the process of healing—one grounded in truth, compassion, and connection.

Before diving into trauma work, I help clients develop essential tools for emotional regulation—mindfulness practices, somatic awareness, and body-based interventions. These skills empower you to understand your thoughts, manage moods, and respond to moments of distress with greater awareness and care.

I welcome clients of all ages and backgrounds—whether you’re processing trauma, navigating difficult relationships, experiencing parenting challenges, facing a life transition, or simply seeking clarity and growth. You’ll find in me a compassionate guide, a steady presence, and someone who truly listens.

My professional background is as diverse as the individuals I work with:

  • 12 years in Emergency Medicine

  • 10 years in Vocational and Professional Development for individuals with disabilities

  • Mental Health Outpatient Case Manager

  • Sign Language Interpreter

  • Professional Singer

I’m also a mother of four adult children and have been married for over 25 years—life experiences that deeply inform my empathy, insight, and respect for the human journey.

In therapy, I offer a blend of respect, dignity, humor, creativity, clear boundaries, play therapy, art, and music. Above all, I offer a space of privacy, trust, and honor. Whether you’re walking through deep trauma or simply seeking a place to be heard, I invite you to step into a journey of healing and rediscovery.

I look forward to walking with you “through the woods” toward healing, growth, and your truest self.
