Adults & Couples

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years experience working in diverse settings. I strive to empower clients to find their inner strength and overcome obstacles in life, particularly in healing from trauma.  The most important part of therapy and the biggest marker for change is the relationship between you and your therapist. My goal is to provide a safe and supported environment where you will feel empowered to move forward in reaching your goals.

I am interested in each person’s unique story and identity and approach my work with curiosity, an open mind, and unconditional care for all clients.  I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gottman Couples Therapy,  Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).  In addition, I have had extensive training and practice in Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. I work collaboratively with each client and utilize a variety of techniques to best meet an individual’s circumstances.

I love spending time with my family, traveling, and reading. Being in the mountains and going on long hikes with my husband and dog, Zeke, is where I find peace and recharge.  I am also honored to continue to assist our veterans through participating in outdoor adventures with Wounded Warriors and Project Odyssey.
