Jasmine Wilcox, RYT 200 & Certified Children’s Yoga Teacher
Yoga Instructor
Hi! My name is Jasmine, and I am a busy wife, small business owner, and mother of 2 wonderful kids, 2 gorgeous dogs, and lots of houseplants. I am also a lover of stories, coffee, and – obviously – yoga!
Yoga has looked like a lot of different things to me over the years. My journey began as a teenager, obsessed with flexibility and handstands, and slowly evolved into a profound practice that has deepened my self-awareness, strengthened my relationships, and acted as a soothing balm for stress and anxiety. Because of my ever-changing path, I believe that yoga can be as simple as noticing and appreciating each aspect of your morning coffee, and that it can be as complex as studying its thousand-year-old history. The beauty of yoga, to me, is that it is not a one-size-fits-all kind of deal. Instead, it’s a treasure trove of many, beautiful, varied practices and bits of wisdom.
And that, my friends, means that absolutely anybody can find a practice that brings them joy and well-being.
With that understanding at the root of my teaching, I offer wholesome classes that will move your body, introduce you to breathing practices, and offer opportunities for quiet reflection. I value the uniqueness of each student’s practice, and strive to create a space where you feel welcome and safe to explore and listen to your own body. My goal is always to offer a practice that will leave you feeling just a little bit better than when you started. I warmly invite you to join me for a class, and truly look forward to meeting and practicing with you.
